1966 Chevrolet Caprice

1966 Chevrolet Caprice factory big block 2 owner fully documented car. Features an All numbers matching “born with” drivetrain including the original 396/325hp mated to a TH400 3 speed automatic. 12 bolt rear is also original to the car. Finished in Aztec Bronze with all original chrome and trim. Black cloth Interior is also 100% original with the exception of an aftermarket radio, but the original AM Delco unit is also included! Car?? has an older repaint and still presents well, but closer inspection reveals a few small areas that need minor attention. (See pics). The car is solid overall, and the body is very straight. All sheet metal is original, and the floors are also excellent. Some of the bright trim shows some wear, but all of it is original to the car. There are 2 small spots on the front bench seat where the fabric has pulled away from the piping, but could easily be repaired to retain the complete original interior which is otherwise in near perfect condition. Drive it and enjoy it as it is, or touch up a few spots and replace a few bits to make it even better. As it is the car drives as nice as new, and attracts attention everywhere it goes. Newer full dual exhaust system and 15” rally wheels with new centers. Factory power steering. Tons of original paperwork including the protect-o-plate and owners manual, as well as many vintage reciepts, etc. While it’s not perfect, it’s a very nice numbers matching Chevy that can be reliably driven and enjoyed anywhere! Car is located in Johnstown PA., where it was purchased new in 1966 and has remained ever since! You’d be hard pressed to find a better car for the money!
